Entry Level Assistant / General Labor (Waukegan Area)

More infoWe are a busy property management company that needs some help. We are looking for an entry level assistant / general labor helper. You MUST have reliable transportation (small truck or van would be ideal) and a valid driver's license. You MUST speak and understand English very well (you'll be talking to a lot of people). You MUST not be afraid to get your hands dirty when needed. Ideally we want to find someone living in the North Chicago, Waukegan or Zion areas that is looking for work.

Here is what we want someone to do for us: we have lots of appointments with inspectors and housing officials - we need someone to meet them (on time) and show them various apartments. We need someone to meet the gas company or electric company at a property to let them in. We need someone to go to a property and pick up garbage in the lawn or clean out a basement (the get your hands dirty part). And we may even want someone to meet a tenant and do a small repair for them (some repair ability is helpful).

We pay $9/hr. + a some for gas. Again, a car (or better, a small truck or van that gets good gas mileage) is absolutely necessary. Work during the day, Monday - Friday (rarely a few hours on a weekend may be needed). 30-40 hours a week. Start right away. Must have a clean and presentable appearance.
