MACHINE MAINTENANCE & SET-UP (WAUKEGAN / GURNEE)

Duties include set-up on RF sealing machines as well as drill punches, riveters, die cutters, foil stamping and the like. Electrical and mechanical aptitude a must. Ability to troubleshoot, understand and repair machinery is essential. Familiarity with Sakurai silk screen rotary press and RF heat sealing machines would be ideal.

Job would also include some cutting on SEYBOLD Guillotine cutters. Our substrates are, vinyl, chipboard and polyethylene and some paper. Ideal candidate will have had some experience on guillotine cutters and is able to quickly figure out the best cutting yields. Basic math skills such as knowing fractions and being able to read a tape measure is critical.

We're a fast paced custom job shop and need a person who can quickly learn our business. Experience in a bindery (especially loose leaf bindery) or printing company would be helpful.
