JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conduct visual inspections of homes under construction to verify energy code compliance.
Perform blower door and duct blaster tests to determine energy performance goals are exceeded.
Identify issues that compromise the integrity of the thermal envelope and document by digital photo or extensive library of Company illustrations.
Enter test data and inspection summary into Company's proprietary software program.
Communicate with builder clients so that any adverse issues are understood, addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
All inspections and testing are done during the construction process.
Our builder clients rely on us to help them construct homes that exceed energy codes utilizing proven building science.
We will train the successful candidate in our unique methods developed over 30+ years in more than 100,000 homes, currently with over 100 builder clients in the Midwest.
