The Purple Pig is a Chef driven restaurant seeking a strong Sous Chef to help run a very busy, high caliber kitchen. Work with Jimmy Bannos Jr., 2013 James Beard Nominated Rising Star Chef. We have an incredibly strong culinary team and are looking for a couple more key employees to raise the bar to the next level.

The ideal Sous Chef candidate will have 5 plus years experience in kitchens with at least 2 years Sous Chef experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel.

The ideal Jr. Sous candidate will have previous tournant and/or Sous Chef experience and be ready for the next step.

If you are hard working, passionate about food and like the idea of raising the bar to further critical acclaim, this might be a good fit for you. This position has endless growth potential.

Requirements:
Must have scheduling flexibility
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to maneuver in a high volume environment
Formal culinary training a plus! But not required
