We are hiring entry-advanced level Help Desk Support Professionals and Network Engineers. Help Desk Positions (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced)
These positions are based primarily in our Lincolnwood office with another office in Arlington Heights to come onboard in 2014. Work in a relaxed and fun environment with co-workers who share your passion for technology and excellent customer service. Support an interesting mix of clients, developing and employing solutions to technology issues that range from very basic to extremely complex. While no day is exactly the same, your general duties include:

- Assisting in the fulfillment of cloud-based infrastructure and migration of applications and data.
- Supporting the implementation of cloud-based IT environments using virtualization and data center technologies.
- Configuring "zero-client" terminal devices and installing "zero-client" terminals at client sites.
- Using remote support and VPN software to provide ongoing technical support to our customers (e.g. additions of new user accounts in Active Directory).
-Working onsite at customer sites during the go-live network transition.

Network Engineering/Server Engineering Positions (work on-site and remotely)
- Implementation of cloud-based infrastructure and migration of applications and data
- Translating client's business requirements into network designs
- Using ADAR's project management software to create a migration project plan to move client's data and application into the cloud
- Building the entire network infrastructure using Microsoft and VMware technologies (i.e. Active Directory, Exchange server, SQL, VMware View VDI, etc.)
- Performing discovery of client's current network and migration of all data and applications
- Building the network infrastructure for the customer at the data center and setting up the necessary connectivity
- Generating detailed documentation
- Administration of existing customer networks
- Designing and implementing a procedure for pro-active infrastructure maintenance (e.g. using and customizing OpenNMS)
- Installing Service Packs and application upgrades, as needed
- Monitoring performance and utilization of existing client platforms
- Providing after-hours, weekend and emergency support (10%)
- Helping the support team with level2 and level3 support issues, and in cases where no one is available to help a customer for a prolonged period of time

Experience with and/or knowledge of the following technologies preferred but not required for HelpDesk positions: (proven experience and skills is required for Engineering positions)
? Virtualization technologies
? Microsoft networking and applications (e.g. Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Terminal Services)
? Firewalls, VPNs, and TCP/IP networking
? Shared storage systems (e.g. SAN, NAS)
? Networking concepts
? Troubleshooting experience

We offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Entry Level to Advanced Level Help Desk Support: $35,000-57,000 per year (Performance bonus eligible. Up to $500 per month)

Engineer Level (entry level) starts at $52,0000. With experience, up to $90,0000+.
