1) Application Support Specialist

Provides second tier application support to end-users, and performs on-going testing of information security related applications. This individual is involved in the installation and rollout of software packages and upgrades. This person troubleshoots software problems experienced by end users using scripts, knowledge base and checklists as guides. Individual documents problems and resolutions completely and concisely. Individual develops and executes test cases, suites, and scripts for information security related applications. This individual escalates to senior members of team when necessary. The level of work required is considered intermediate and staff must be able to work under general supervision. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Using intermediate troubleshooting and technical skills, performs corrective and maintenance actions either remotely or at the end user's location to resolve problems
Researches problems associated with the client's computing environment.
Resolves end user requests through follow-up with customers, tracking all requests and their resolutions within department call tracking database.
Work closely with senior members in developing, documenting and executing test cases for the Information Security product.
Provides technical support of all computing hardware (desktop, laptop, handheld, printer,) operating system and associated software applications.
