New hair salon opening in mid-to-late March in Round Lake, IL is now accepting applications from qualified stylists.

Qualifications for employment:
At least one year of professional experience in a salon.
A minimum of two references.
Aside from being skilled at cutting hair, must also have a knowledge of and ability to do all chemical-based styles.
Applicants must be local, or within a reasonable driving distance, and must have reliable transportation.
Must have a pleasant demeanor and be a team player.

About the position:
Currently there are both full-time and part-time positions available.
The first month of employment is probationary and includes hourly pay, following the first month compensation is commission based.

About the salon:
This salon is not a chain or a franchise. I am a hair stylist with several decades of experience, and I will be working right alongside you.
The salon is reasonably priced and family oriented, with a focus on the individual client's experience rather than on meeting quotas. It is posed to be a better alternative to inexpensive salons whose sole focus tends to be on quantity and not quality.
There are six workstations.
There is a dress code which will be enforced.
The hours are: Tuesday to Friday 9am - 7pm, Saturday 9am - 4pm, Sunday 10am - 3pm, and closed on Mondays.
