We are seeking a Residential Property Manager to be responsible for the following:
? Collect and maintain rents and security deposits
? Maintain and Create Residential Leases
? Coordinate Residential Rentals
? Handle and maintain appropriate billing including but not limited to: Rents, Late Fees, Real Estate Taxes, Common Area Maintenance, and Annual Rent Increases
? Handle City violations and corrections: Department of Building and Department of Streets and Sanitation
? Work directly with Apartment Agencies
? Obtain estimates and proposals when necessary
? Oversee Building Inspections
? Receiving and answering phone calls after hours and on weekends regarding rentals, coordinate showings
? Respond to tenant maintenance issues and coordinate appropriately with maintenance person
? Weekly inspection of Residential Properties (most located on north side of Chicago)
Qualities Should Include:
? Motivated with a high energy level and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
? Excellent organizational skills & interpersonal skills
? Ability to manage detail with a proactive approach to projects & tasks
? Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
? Must be able to handle the challenge of multiple changing priorities with minimal supervision
? Team player who takes the initiative to identify ways to contribute to the company
? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook, Experience with Property Management Software is a requirement
? College degree preferred
