Our sales team take routes each day to do full inspections of homes and provide our clients with both solutions to current wildlife issues as well as preventative measures that add value to client homes. We don't have time to cover every detail with the clients over the phone, so you must educate them on-site and selling by educating what we love to do! You will climb on the roof, enter the attic and check the insulation to see if animals have damaged it. You will explain each of our services in detail and explain to clients why they need each service that your inspection indicates for their home.

You don't need any prior experience with animals because we have a comprehensive training program but you to be physically fit (we use ladders, tools and walk on roofs) have a good driving record AND sales experience. We inspect every home we visit, so you must have the strength and fitness to load our 32' ladder on and off our trucks many times each day. Days:

Our company is open everyday (365-days a year), but we each work a 5-day week. We rotate for days off, so you will need to work some weekend days. Most days begin around 8 a.m.

Training:

40 hours per week of paid on-the-job training/apprenticeship, as well as classroom training for the first 4 to 8 weeks. This is a long-term position, not a "temporary or summer help" type of job. We invest so much training and development into our staff that we hope to retain them for many years. We strive for and achieve very low turnover, and because of this, we have an excellent and highly trained team.

Logistics:

You report for work daily to our office in Arlington Heights. You wear our uniforms, drive our trucks, use our equipment, and our dispatchers send you out on wildlife calls.

Typical Call:

Most of our calls are for squirrels or raccoons. You would perform a full inspection of a residence, set the appropriate humane trap for that animal then have a 20-40 minute discussion with the customer explaining the importance of preventing future issues through installing a variety of animal proof products as well as repairing the damage done by the current animal. Our best wildlife inspectors are great at educating the client on how strong animals are and what they can do to people's homes. The education starts with setting client expectations of the animal trapping process, followed by taking measurements for chimney caps and other barrier methods on the client's home to keep other animals from entering. All of our customers have hired us to solve an existing problem and you will be thoroughly trained on doing just that, while also explaining how we can keep future animals out, thus safeguarding people and property.

The Down Side:

Since many kinds of animals are dangerously overpopulated, we are required by law to put some of the animals we catch to sleep. Quick Serve BBQ restaurant in Arlington Heights is under new management and seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-driven Head Cook/Kitchen Manager for full time employment! We are looking for a team member with the skills to take us to the next level. A passion for food and the "Guest Experience" are essential qualities of the candidate we are looking for. You must also possess attention to detail, solid knife skills, good communication, strength in leadership, and the ability to task manage while staying organized.
